Art by Trudy Dales
Trudy Dales makes figurines that have a base of metal wire and are constructed from Epoxy. They are formed by hand and are therefore never exactly the same. The facade tourists are always different in design.
In 2012 a good friend of Trudy died. This friend saw something in Trudy that she had not yet discovered herself, namely that she would be creative. This friend left all her materials to Trudy and the experimentation could begin. First with papier-mâché and cotton fiber to finally end up with Epoxy (resin). The first Trudy exhibition was in 2014.
The bald heads of the figures are an ode to her late girlfriend.
